Grateful, November 20 and 22
Nov. 22nd, 2011 08:56 pmToday has been a shitty, shitty day. I still feel crappy and I lost my new job and Anne MCCaffery passed away.
That said, I have to say how grateful I am to that revered author. Through her, I learned that the character is as important as the setting. She built a fitional world so real I felt I could touch it, but I loved the people of that world just as much. My writing is character driven because Anne taught me that value.
You will be missed, Dragonlady.
